Effective date: July 20, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Elevated Career Services (“ECS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) website, job board, talent network, recruiting services, career services, digital resources, events, appointments, and online store. By using the website, creating an account, submitting information, posting an opportunity, or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Elevated Career Services
ECS is a third-party recruiting and career-services company. ECS is not the employer of every position displayed on the job board and is not an agent of candidates unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. Employers remain responsible for their hiring decisions, employment practices, job descriptions, compensation, screening, and legal compliance.
2. Eligibility and account responsibilities
You must provide accurate, current information and keep your login credentials secure. Accounts may not be shared, transferred, used to impersonate another person, or used to access information beyond the permissions assigned to the account. ECS may suspend or close accounts that contain misleading information, violate these Terms, or create a security or compliance risk.
3. Career services
Career services may include resume and CV writing, federal resume support, cover letters, LinkedIn optimization, professional biographies, editing, interview preparation, coaching, job-search strategy, templates, and related resources. Services are collaborative and depend on timely, complete information from the client. ECS does not guarantee interviews, employment, promotions, compensation, security clearances, admissions, certifications, or any particular outcome.
Unless a product page or written quote states otherwise, estimated turnaround begins after payment and receipt of all required intake materials. Most writing engagements are completed in approximately 7–10 business days, but timing may change based on complexity, client responsiveness, demand, holidays, or an approved rush request. Rush work is subject to availability and an additional fee disclosed before purchase.
Complimentary revisions must be requested within 48 hours after delivery of the completed draft unless the product description or written agreement provides a different revision period. New target roles, new source material, substantial changes in direction, or requests made after the revision window may require an additional fee.
4. Appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling
Appointments must be scheduled through the approved ECS booking process. Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. A late cancellation or no-show may incur a $25 fee. Clients who do not attend or contact ECS within five minutes of the appointment start time may be treated as a no-show. One reschedule is permitted without an additional rescheduling fee; additional reschedules may incur a $50 fee.
5. Employer, recruiter, and job-board services
Employers and recruiters must have authority to represent the organization and opportunity they submit. Job postings must be genuine, accurate, lawful, and complete. Listings may not contain discriminatory criteria, misleading compensation, unlawful commission-only arrangements, requests for payment from candidates, pyramid schemes, or opportunities that conflict with ECS standards.
ECS may review, edit for formatting, reject, pause, expire, or remove a listing. Payment does not guarantee publication when a submission violates these Terms or applicable law. Job-posting credits, subscriptions, sourcing access, recruiting engagements, and managed searches are governed by the product description and any separate written agreement.
6. Talent network and candidate information
Candidates control the information they submit and must ensure it is accurate. Joining the talent network does not guarantee recruiter contact, an application, an interview, or placement. Approved employers and recruiters may receive access only as permitted by the candidate, ECS account permissions, and applicable privacy requirements. Talent-network information may not be copied, resold, scraped, used for unrelated marketing, or retained after access ends.
7. Orders, prices, and payment
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, processing charges, optional add-ons, rush fees, subscriptions, renewals, and event charges are shown before payment when applicable. An order is accepted when ECS confirms payment and the service is available. ECS may correct obvious pricing or product-description errors and will provide the customer with an appropriate option when a correction materially affects an order.
8. Digital products and intellectual property
The website, ECS branding, written materials, templates, graphics, guides, workflows, and other original content are owned by ECS or used with permission. Purchases grant the customer a limited, personal, non-transferable license for the intended use. Materials may not be resold, redistributed, published as a competing product, scraped, reverse engineered, or used to train a commercial system without written permission.
Clients retain ownership of their underlying career history and employer information. Upon full payment, clients may use their completed custom career documents for personal job-search purposes.
9. Confidentiality, reviews, and portfolio examples
ECS treats client information as confidential and uses it to provide requested services, operate accounts, process transactions, communicate about services, and meet legal obligations. If a work sample is considered for educational or promotional use, identifying details will be removed unless the client provides express permission. Reviews may be displayed using the reviewer’s first name, last initial, role, or organization as authorized.
10. Acceptable use
You may not disrupt the website, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, collect information through automated means, harass another user, submit false information, infringe intellectual-property rights, or use ECS services for unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, or abusive conduct.
11. Third-party services
The website may use or link to third-party services such as payment processors, scheduling providers, event platforms, employer websites, and job-application systems. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. ECS is not responsible for an external website’s availability, content, hiring process, or security.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Services and website content are provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ECS disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost opportunities, lost profits, hiring decisions, employer conduct, candidate conduct, or third-party systems. ECS’s aggregate liability for a paid service will not exceed the amount the customer paid ECS for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
13. Changes and termination
ECS may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, law, or operations. The current effective date will appear at the top of this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
14. Contact
Questions about these Terms should be submitted through the ECS contact page.
These Terms are a practical business template and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before relying on them for a particular jurisdiction or regulated hiring activity.
